Welcome to the Silverhill Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) page.
We are the fundraising group for our wonderful school. We are made up of a group of parents, grandparents and school staff.
Silverhill PTFA is open to anybody with the school's best interests at heart. And you don't have to come to endless meetings or give up countless hours of your time to make a positive difference to your child's education. Sometimes it's a case of serving tea and coffee for half an hour or so after a Nativity Play at Christmas, or making a poster to advertise a Quiz. Whatever talent you may be hiding, we're keen to use it!
One of the easiest ways to support us is to use Easy Fundraising or Amazon Smile. Simply select Silverhill Primary School PTFA as your charity and every time you shop we receive a small percentage with now cost to you!
On average we raise £10,000 per year which directly goes back into enriching the education journey of Silverhill Pupils.
The generosity of our school community has enabled us to buy new tablets, books for the library, the trim trail, outdoor classroom and fund our ongoing enrichment programme over the past few years. Our current fundraising efforts will see us contribute over £6,000 to the school's new Sensory Garden Project, due to be in place from next year.
