Final allocation of places for Monday June 1st

In order to adhere to government guidelines we have had  to limit the number of pupils returning on Monday June 1st. This is Phase 1 of our wider re-opening of school and as the week progresses we will evaluate the risk of opening the school wider. However, until the Government announces further plans for Years 2, 3, 4 and 5, we have no capacity to accept any more children from these year groups. The next phase will be to increase the number of pupils attending by accepting children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6  of families...

Letter regarding re-opening of school on June 1st

Over the last seven days in consultation with Silverhill Governors, Derby City Local Authority and the leadership and management of the school, we have made the decision to open Silverhill on 1st June in a phased and considered manner that adheres to government guidance and is in line with advice from teachers' unions.

As we near the end of yet another week living in our own bubbles of Isolation, I am sure that you are very much appreciating the warmer weather and the fact that you can now leave your homes to exercise more than once per day! I know that just the thought that I am 'allowed' to go out more than once, has given me a boost!

Dear Parents and Carers,

The Government has announced an ambition for a measured return to school for pupils in certain year groups from 1st June. This will only happen if the government's 5 key test criteria are met by this date.
