Personal, Social, Health, Economic Education

Through teaching PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) at Silverhill we aim to help our pupils to develop the knowledge and skills they need to deal with challenges and responsibilities they will face as they grow up, enabling them to make safe and informed decisions.

We have tailored our PSHE programme to reflect the needs of our pupils and cover the following themes: Social and Emotional Wellbeing, Citizenship, Friendships and Anti-Bullying, Healthy Lifestyles, Personal Safety, Drug Education, Relationships and Sex Education, British Values and Financial Capabilitities.

As well as timetabled lessons, PSHE can also be found running through many other subject areas and as part of our daily routines.
